Nissan Pathfinder Ti 4WD SUV 2023 Review

Pathfinder Ti – Nissan Pathfinder has been a bot of a chameleon over the years, changing to suit market tastes between rugged 4WD, to soft road SUV and now sitting somewhere between.

We drove the mid spec Ti model last week.

The Pathfinder is a large seven seat SUV that caters to a larger family. It has modern rugged styling and a well laid interior.

With a 3.5L V6 petrol engine and nine speed automatic transmission, there is adequate performance but it’s a little thirsty. Towing is relatively good for the class as is off road capability.

The AWD version adds mud and sand modes to the terrain drive modes.

Standard Pathfinder features include 10 itch central touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity, heated front seats, 8-inch HUD, a 10 inch driver instrument cluster.

The Ti model comes with some appreciated features like heated rear outer seats, wireless smartphone charging pad and additional USB charging port for the third row of seats.

It also comes with the Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety suite.

The Pathfinder Ti sits in a competitive segment and is priced from around $70,000 plus the usual costs.

Some final thoughts

The all-new Pathfinder was worth the wait.

Think of it more as a capable AWD SUV rather than a true 4WD. It has a sophisticated drive mode select that has different terrain functionality, but the ground clearance will be a limiting factor.

As a family wagon for snow trips its excellent. It will also tow more than almost everything else in the class and that’s handy.
