VW Touareg 3.0L V6 210 R Line 2022 Review

2022 VW Touareg V6 210 R Line front quarter

VW Touareg 210 R Line – Since its first release the Touareg has been a major success for the brand.   2022 VW Touareg V6 210 R Line front quarter The reasons are obvious, sleek styling, dynamic roadholding, true all road and off road capability and a level of luxury. Comfort and safety features that put many higher proceed SUVs to shame.

Before I go on I have to declare that the Touareg is one of my favourite SUVs.

I drove the 210 R Line model with a powerful and smooth 3.0L V6 Turbo diesel that pumps out a respectable 210 kW and a healthy 600 Nm at just 1750rpm. Driving all four wheels through the 4motion system and a ZF 8 Speed auto transmission.

Its reasonably economical using around 8.8l/100k during our test.

While it has some performance credibility, its real forte is a particularly comfortable long distance cruiser. Luxuries like heated and ventilated seats, with massage function, interior mood lighting, whisper quiet with minimal road noise and air suspension all add to the luxury ambience.

As I have said many times you have to actually drive the Touareg to appreciate just how good it is. Considering it shares a lot with the Audi Q8, Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Cayenne and Lamborghini Urus, that comes as no suppose.

The Touareg 210 is priced from $112,690 plus the usual costs and is fully equipped in R-line specification.
