Kimberley Kampers have released their 2009 model Limited Edition Delta Off Road Camper Trailer. It’s like they thought of a bunch of popular options and some key new features and packaged them together. It has the familiar large Delta Gullwing storage box which is perfect for those who travel with virtually all supplies in the Camper for longer stays or with a family.

It’s like they thought of a bunch of popular options and some key new features and packaged them together. It has the familiar large Delta Gullwing storage box which is perfect for those who travel with virtually all supplies in the Camper for longer stays or with a family.
They have taken the proven Gullwing storage pack and added the convenience a third Gullwing in the front. This “Delta” concept allows you to have additional storage separated from the “dirty” jerry can and generator section. In the front Gullwing, you can store the generator, 2 x 20 litre Jerry cans, ropes, pegs, tools etc. The Driver’s side has the compact diesel system and then ample space for canvas, bucket, hose, fishing gear, and all the other “stuff” that a guy likes to take on such a trip. There was room to spare if you want to take a porta-potti and other bulky items.
The elevated storage floor sections are a great innovation. Starboard (as used in the Karavan) is used here to great effect. It allows you to put items like tools and pegs down low and then have the generator on the raised floor on top of that. The Starboard under the Jerry cans has cut-outs for access. Gone are the days of stuffing bags and boxes of bits and pieces on top of Generators and other bulking items. There is a patented ventilation system so that either a fridge or just general food and storage is kept cool and dust free. Without ventilation, fridges won’t operate efficiently – if at all; and have to be turned off.
The most popular and important NEW feature – Diesel Hot Water and Visiflow Multi-source is standard on this model. This means that you have virtually instantaneous Hot Water permanently plumbed into the sink as well as in the ensuite bathroom. You can select either the large rear tank or pump from a billabong or stream for nonstop hot water. Just press a button, allow system to heat up, and then enjoy your hot water on-demand. This compact system is diesel powered, virtually odourless and safer than LPG. It uses a heat exchanger and does not require a hot water holding tank. This system also includes Visi-flow™ system which allows automatic pumping from a nearby stream or billabong for endless hot water.
What makes the Limited Edition unique is the NEW “Cooks” Kitchen. This kitchen comes standard with a Stainless Steel BBQ – but one with a difference: it has a stainless steel trivet so that the BBQ can be used for boiling, grilling and roasting. In ADDITION there is the large Single Burner/Wok on a separate slide. Behind the cookers on a slide is the large pantry. This is the Kitchen everyone has been asking for to top off our range!The Gullwing doors provide both overhead lighting and protection from the weather.
The 2009 Model is now even lighter than before with the NEW Aluminium Alloy Front Frame and alloy internal construction. The Selecta-Swing-Away range of rear carriers gives you the flexibility of adding outboard carriers, bikes or additional water in the rear of the camper.It comes standard with a reinforced roof rack so that a boat loader can be fitted in minutes, annex roof and upgraded wheels and tyres to suit your vehicle. It has the same Camper “body”, “Camper tent” and stainless kitchen that is used across the range of models. It is perfect for the couple/family that wants comfort for both on the move and longer stays as they visit and stay at the most off-road locations. There is LED lighting throughout including inside the Camper roof. If you wish to add a second bedroom or the Hi-Top tropical roof, they just zip or Velcro on!
Other features on the Delta Limited Edition include the NEW Dual Layer Mattress, double point shield system to protect both the trailer and tow vehicle, patented design hi-top Tropical roof, independent suspension, monotube shock absorbers, 120L water tank, 130AH battery power, 240v wiring with pop fuses etc.
